How to submit a project
Feel like submitting a project? Here are some hints:
- Have a closer look on the different Marie Curie Actions and select the one(s) you want to participate in.
- Get in contact with the National Contact Point in your country. S/he will provide you with information and documents about the Call you are interested in. S/he may inform you on useful workshops and conferences for preparing a proposal.
- Depending on the Marie Curie Action, a consortium may be needed. You can either identify a consortium of European partners who are preparing a project. Or you can also set up your own consortium and act as the coordinator.
- Remember that all the Marie Curie Actions follow a bottom-up approach: the topic of a project is freely chosen by the coordinator in co-operation with the host organisation. Marie Curie Actions are also cross-cutting, they cover all the scientific fields (chemistry, social and human sciences, economic sciences, information science and engineering, environment and geosciences, life sciences, mathematics and physics).
- Do your reading! Once the Call you are interested in is published, you find all the official documents providing you with decisive information. The Guide for Applicants is a must!
- It is time then to start writing the proposal of your project. A proposal has two parts:
- The Part A contains the administrative information about the proposal and the participants, with a brief description of the work, contact details of the participants, etc.
- The Part B of your proposal is where you describe (preferably in English) your project, the participants and their role in your project, and the impacts you expect to arise from your work.To help you write your proposal, a template explained in the Guide for Applicants is designed to highlight the aspects that will be assessed against the evaluation criteria.
- The Part A contains the administrative information about the proposal and the participants, with a brief description of the work, contact details of the participants, etc.
