Step 2: Call for Projects

What is a Call for project?

The European Commission (EC) regurlaly announces Calls for project ("Call for submission" or "Call" in EC jargon) on the Participant Portal. Calls for Marie Curie Actions are usually published once year. Each Call covers one specific Marie Curie Action.

In the Marie Curie Actions, there are two types of Calls:

• The host driven actions: the applicant is a research institution (company, university, etc.)
• The individual driven actions: the applicant is an individual researcher

Once the Call is published on CORDIS, official documents are available, providing you with decisive information (deadline, budget, etc.). Check out these three steps:

• Before the Call is published
• Once the Call is open
• After the Call deadline
